How to read wagering requirements before you claim a welcome offer
Welcome offers are marketing. The binding rules sit in the terms. This guide explains the phrases that change what an offer is actually worth, without inventing specific promotional amounts.
Find the multiple
Look for “wagering”, “playthrough” or “rollover”. Note whether it applies to the bonus only or to bonus plus deposit.

What a wagering requirement is asking you to do
If an offer carries 30x wagering on a £10 bonus, you typically need £300 of qualifying stakes before related winnings can be withdrawn. Higher multiples mean more play is required. Lower multiples are easier to clear, all else equal.
Why some games clear bonuses faster than others
Operators publish contribution tables. A slot that contributes 100% advances wagering pound-for-pound. A live roulette seat that contributes 10% advances much more slowly. If your preferred games contribute little, a “generous” bonus can be a poor fit.
